"We had friends who were already parents, but nothing compared to going through labor, delivery, and the newborn stage with others at the same time. Our support group was only a text away, even in the middle of the night."
"As first time parents we wanted to learn as much as possible. We took great classes at our local hospital but the experience with ET was unmatched. The intimacy of the small group setting meant no questions were off limits. Now all of us moms stay in touch and share tips and advice, but mostly a listening ear!"
"Our prenatal social club transformed our early days of parenthood. Sharing weekly conversations with other parents facing the same challenges at the same time made us feel less alone. They say it takes a village to raise a baby – we found ours in this amazing group."

We offer small-group prenatal classes that prepare you for birth and build lasting community. Each cohort of 7–13 local couples is led by an expert and designed to foster real friendships and support beyond the classroom.
If you need to miss one session, that's okay. Once you've enrolled, you can rebook it yourself in the My Schedule tab of your Expecting Together portal. This works as long as another cohort nearby is running the same session before your due date and space allows. Each enrollment includes one makeup session. If you expect to miss more than one class, we recommend choosing a different cohort that better fits your schedule and due date so you get the full experience.
Yes. Expecting Together qualifies for FSA and HSA spending, and many parents choose to pay using their FSA or HSA card directly at checkout. If you prefer to pay first and submit for reimbursement later, we’re happy to help. Just email hello@expectingtogether.com and we can provide a detailed receipt for your records.
Every class is led by an experienced registered nurse, nurse practitioner, or certified nurse-midwife with real bedside experience in labor & delivery, women’s health, or pediatrics. They bring both clinical expertise and a calm, confident presence that helps families feel informed, prepared, and supported.
Our classes cover everything you'd get in a hospital class plus more, providing comprehensive preparation for labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care. You'll receive feeding guidance for both breastfeeding and bottle feeding, nutritional support for pregnancy and early parenthood, and evidence-based health and safety tips for caring for your newborn. We also focus on partner strategies for mutual support, mental health tools for managing stress and building resilience, and so much more to ensure you feel confident and prepared for this incredible journey.
Absolutely! Expecting Together welcomes solo parents, supportive family members, and anyone who wants to be part of your pregnancy journey. You don't need a partner to benefit from our community.
Enrollment pricing varies by city, neighborhood, and cohort format, with current in-person cohorts starting at $499 per pair. To see exact pricing, dates, and location details, select the cohort you're interested in on our booking page. Every family also receives a curated welcome gift package valued at $150+, featuring a mix of products, exclusive partner offers, discounts, and experiences from brands and local businesses we love. The contents vary by city and cohort, but may include items like baby essentials, wellness products, free classes or memberships, and other perks designed to support you through pregnancy and early parenthood.
Hospital classes often focus on the basics of labor and delivery. We go further, with 10 hours preparing you for birth and the realities of early parenthood, led by experienced, board-certified clinicians you can trust. In a world full of conflicting online advice, families value learning from real experts while also building a community of peers.
We match each family by due date and ZIP code, so you’ll be with others expecting at the same time and living nearby. Most cohorts include 8–12 families. We also gather a bit of extra information at registration, like interests and background, to help spark genuine social connections within the group.
Your cohort doesn't disappear. We host reunion events, and we hope you'll stay connected with your community. Many families form lasting friendships that continue well beyond the program.
Plans change, and we get it. If you cancel at least four weeks before your cohort's first session, you'll get a full refund minus a small processing fee. After that, we're not able to offer refunds, because our groups are small and we hold your spot for you. If you need to miss a session, you can rebook that session in another cohort once, if space allows. Pregnancy doesn't always go to plan. If something health-related comes up for you or your baby, please reach out. We'll always work with you, with care and flexibility. If we ever cancel or reschedule a cohort, you'll get a full refund or your choice of another cohort. Refunds go back to your original payment method, including FSA and HSA cards, within 5–10 business days. To cancel or ask anything, email hello@expectingtogether.com.
